My name is Hal Harris and your company, Heritage Bomanite, contracted to do a job at my personal residence in October of 2009. Patrick was the foreman/supervisor of the job and we are very pleased with the work and craftsmanship. However, when we re-installed the kitchen equipment it was apparent that the dimensions of the Thermador stove top were miscalculated and therefore left an inch of open space on both sides of the stove. Obviously this was not a good look and I called your company and Patrick came out to re-inspect and sort out a solution.
Patrick responded immediately to my call and tried to seek a remedy to the problem. He initiated a work order to New England Sheet Metal to make an adapter stainless steel plate to cover the gap that existed. The first effort was unsuccessful and Patrick went back to New England and designed another shim and brought that to install today.
Patrick and his assistant arrived to install the stainless steel cladding and I must say that I am very pleased with the results. Nobody would realize that we are covering a gap as it looks like the original Thermador installation.
From the very first day that your company came out to quote, demo and install the concrete we have been very pleased with the professionalism and are very satisfied and proud of the work done. We get many compliments of the style that you offered in flooring and countertops.
I wanted to thank you and your company and the people you have hired to get the job done at the highest level. As a Realtor in Fresno I come across many opportunities to recommend to people what they should do to change a kitchen, bath or flooring and your company will be the first thing I recommend to them. The surface of my concrete front porch was breaking up, so I decided to investigate ways to fix the problem. After contacting six businesses to obtain recommendations and bids, I decided to use Heritage Bomanite.
Paul, the representative who came to my home, was experienced and explained options and costs very clearly. He made several suggestions that would make the porch look better and would create a safer surface. He assured me we would be satisfied with the job.
The workmen were skilled, professional, and very careful of surrounding parts of the structure. The work was done when promised and as promised.
What really impressed me was that Paul checked on the work in progress each of the two days to be sure I knew what was being done and returned after the cement had set to inspect the final result.
I am more than satisfied with the job and want to recommend Heritage Bomanite to anyone contemplating concrete work on their property.

Heritage Bomanite undertook a back-yard restoration project over one
year ago at the home of my daughter: Kimberly Gaab, 346 E. Lindbrook
Lane, Fresno, California 93720. The project has been managed
throughout by Paul Lewellen.
I am writing for several reasons. First, to convey to you that,
through no fault whatsoever of Heritage Bomanite, the project has
taken longer than expected to complete. Yet, at no time has anyone
associated with Heritage Bomanite ever been critical of delays beyond
your company's control, nor has anyone associated with your company
pressed us to bring the project to completion. You have no idea what
a relief that has been, for my daughter and I desire--perhaps more
than anyone associated with your company--to bring this project to
completion as soon as possible. We all need to get on with life!
Second, I am writing to compliment your company on its integrity and
the positive relationships your employees maintain with your company's
customers. Based upon my more than 30 years experience in the land
development and construction businesses, and with 20-20 hindsight, I
have reached the conclusion that your company did not realize a profit
from the work it performed at my daughter's home. Despite that fact,
assuming my suspicions are reasonably accurate, none of the
representatives of your company ever skipped a beat in delivering the
best possible work product and customer service. For that alone, you
and your company's employees are to be commended! It is a rare
occurrence that a company stubs its toe in the bidding process (again,
if my conclusion is reasonably accurate) and nonetheless moves forward
without complaining to deliver the best possible work product. Your
company and its employees have done so in spades, and we commend you
and your employees for your commitment to a job well done.
Finally, I am writing to personally commend Paul Lewellen for several
things. First, Paul is endlessly patient. Nothing phases him, least
of all consumers--such as my daughter and me--who, frankly, know what
we want to achieve, but do not appreciate the nuances of how to
achieve it. Paul has taken time to explain to us the vagaries of
concrete in copious detail. We have gained an education in the
process, and are grateful for his tutelage. Second, and perhaps most
important, Paul is readily accessible, and always promptly returns
telephone calls. Few things are more frustrating, for a consumer,
than the inability to gain reasonable access to a company
representative. Representatives of the construction industry are
singularly renowned in their reputation for failing to communicate
effectively with customers. So it is particularly gratifying that
Paul has, through his efforts alone, separated your company from the
crowd. We especially appreciate Paul for his attention to our
concerns, and for all the effort he has invested in our project. The
project could not have been successful completed--which is eminent, by
the way--absent his personal, even-handed guidance.
All this is to say that your company and its employees are simply The
Best! We genuinely appreciate everything you do, and wish you well as
you navigate your way through these challenging economic times.
Please feel free to call upon us for support, recommendations, and
referrals. My daughter and I are here to help you succeed in every
way possible.

Thank you for the great job Heritage Bomanite did in our backyard.
We had, for a couple of years, been thinking about alternatives to our hard-to-maintain lawn. Heavy clay soil layered with hardpan, and three high-energy dogs, made it difficult to keep the grass from withering away leaving us to contend with dust in the summer and mud in the winter.
We collected your pamphlets at the Home Show and the Fair and visited your showroom before making the decision to have about half of our lawn area covered with Bomanite.
Paul Lewellen and his crew did such a good job with the project we called and asked him to come back and cover the remaining lawn area.
Our backyard is beautiful flagstones and large stepping-stones at one end and flagstones and a large circular seating area at the other end.
We are equally impressed with the quality of the finished project and the quality of your people who did the work. Your crews kept us informed about what they were going to do and when they were going to do it. They completed the project quickly, in spite of all the rain, and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.
We would not hesitate to recommend Heritage Bomanite to anyone.

Earlier this spring my wife and I contracted out to have the concrete pool decking replaced around the pool. The pool was built in the early 1940's and was in dire need of being upgraded. After asking for bids from three different contractors, we accepted the offer issued by Heritage Bomanite. Their bid was very competitive and was submitted very professionally (i.e.: notifying us of California law as to the roles and responsibilities of the contractor and client.)
Throughout the entire process from bid to completion, Heritage Bomanite conducted themselves with great professionalism and courtesy. They led us through the process of concrete and pattern selection as well as offering suggestions for enhancing the pool area to recommending a variety of sub contractors for such tasks as iron fence work. No question was too small that they did not take the time to answer in a prompt and friendly manner. In particular, the lead foreman Mr. Paul Llewylen, provided a level of service that is tough to find. Such attention to the project and the customer made our experience with Heritage Bomanite a rewarding one that we will certainly share with others who are considering such projects.
As you can tell we were pleased with our experience and simply wanted to write a letter that was favorable in nature for a company that met and exceeded our expectations.
